Podcast producer & Creative Consultant
I help people develop, launch and sustain great podcasts. Drawing from my 12+ years experience producing my own shows, I lead trainings and advise on creative, technical, and business aspects of audio production. I have a history of creating media partnerships and award-winning shows.
My Backstory
In 2012, when I was working on my PhD in climate change at Stanford, I created Generation Anthropocene. The show partnered with Grist.org and Smithsonian Magazine. We published over 200 stories.
After I finished my PhD, I worked for Stanford building a podcast incubator for the University. In 2015 I co-created a narrative podcast, Raw Data, and in 2019, Raw Data announced a partnership with PRX/PRI.
In 2021 I launched my third show, Famous and Gravy – celebrity biographies from a different point of view. In 2024 Famous & Gravy announced a partnership with Wondery. Famous & Gravy won a 2023 Signal Award for best Gateway Podcast.
In 2023 I won two Webby Awards for my work on The limited series The Black Women of Amherst College. I also won a Signal Award for my work on Stanford’s neuroscience podcast From Our Neurons to Yours.
I'm based in my hometown of Austin, TX. I operate a recording studio downtown in the Old West Austin neighborhood. I have several projects in development, and I’m always open to new collaborations.
